Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai is seeking a WebSphere Application Server Administrator to install, configure, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain IBM WebSphere environments.

You will handle installation, deployment of EAR/WAR/JAR, manage cells/nodes/clusters, monitor performance, tune capacity, resolve issues, manage SSL, IHS/Apache integration, ensure HA/DR, and automate tasks with shell or wsadmin.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and upgrade of IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Deployment and management of enterprise applications (EAR, WAR, JAR files).
• Creation and maintenance of WebSphere cells, nodes, clusters, and application servers.
• Performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity management.
• Troubleshooting server, application, and connectivity issues.
• Managing security configurations, SSL certificates, and user access.
• Configuring web servers (IHS/Apache) and plugin integration.
• Supporting high availability, failover, and disaster recovery activities.
• Automating administration tasks using Shell, Jython, or wsadmin scripts.
• Coordinating with application, database, middleware, and infrastructure teams.
