Intellics Global Services in Mumbai is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to manage WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server in a 24x7 shift environment. The role requires basic OS server knowledge, RDBMS familiarity, and strong English communication.

The candidate should be comfortable working in shifts, including nights and holidays, and be able to act on alerts from monitoring tools. Mumbai office-based position.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server (2+ years).
• Understanding of OS server functionality.
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS and daily operations.
• Good IT infrastructure knowledge and backups.
• Awareness of architecture of internet-based applications.
• Willingness to work in 24x7 shifts including nights and holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilités

• Handle alerts from monitoring tools and act on them.
• Communicate with non-technical audiences on technical issues when required.
• Maintain and support WebSphere/IBM HTTP Server in Mumbai office.

Job Responsibilities

Strong WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server for at least 2 Years

Basic knowledge of various OS server functionality

Basic understanding of RDBMS and able to do daily operation activity

Basic IT infrastructure knowledge and backups

Should have architecture understanding of internet-based application

Ready to work in shifts (including night shifts and holidays)

Able to communicate in English (verbal/written)

Act on the alert received by different tools

Demonstrated ability to communicate with nontechnical audiences on technical issues.

Demonstrated ability to communicate on a technical level to a technical audience.

Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable and able to learn quickly.
