Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce websites using Shopify (Liquid) and WooCommerce (WordPress).

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Web Developer (Front-End / Shopify / WooCommerce) with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic eCommerce websites and front-end interfaces. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, and modern front-end frameworks, combined with a strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and performance optimization. This role requires an individual who can translate business requirements and creative designs into seamless, functional, and scalable digital storefronts. You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, conversion-optimized web solutions for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• (A) eCommerce Website Development & Implementation
• 1. Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce websites using Shopify (Liquid), WooCommerce (WordPress PHP), and other front-end technologies.
• 2. Build responsive, fast-loading, and mobile-optimized interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React, and jQuery.
• 3. Customize and extend Shopify and WooCommerce themes to meet client branding, functionality, and performance requirements.
• 4. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
• 5. Ensure compliance with SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and performance standards.
• (B) Front-End Development & Optimization
• 1. Implement pixel-perfect UI based on Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• 2. Optimize code for speed, scalability, and browser compatibility across devices.
• 3. Implement animations, transitions, and visual effects using CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
• 4. Conduct regular audits for broken links, code validation, and performance testing (PageSpeed, GTMetrix, Lighthouse).
• 5. Collaborate with UX designers to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.
• (C) CMS & Plugin Management
• 1. Configure, manage, and customize plugins and apps in Shopify and WooCommerce ecosystems.
• 2. Develop and maintain reusable components, templates, and scripts to streamline future development.
• 3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to themes, APIs, and platform updates.
• 4. Maintain site security and perform regular backups and updates.
• (D) Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery
• 1. Work closely with Project Managers to understand scope, deliverables, and client expectations.
• 2. Collaborate with Back-End Developers for API integration, data handling, and performance optimization.
• 3. Participate in sprint meetings, progress tracking, and quality assurance processes.
• 4. Ensure alignment between design, content, and technical implementation to deliver a cohesive digital experience.
• (E) Innovation, Testing & Continuous Improvement
• 1. Stay updated with the latest eCommerce trends, Shopify/WooCommerce updates, and web technologies.
• 2. Implement best practices in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and UI/UX improvements.
• 3. Explore headless eCommerce architecture and JAMstack implementation for advanced clients.
• 4. Conduct A/B testing, gather analytics insights, and recommend improvements for engagement and retention.

Qualifications & Eligibility
