Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a Web Developer to join our team in multiple Indian cities, including Mumbai. You will enhance an existing core-PHP web application, migrate to Laravel, and implement REST API integrations while ensuring frontend quality with HTML/CSS/JS/Bootstrap.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience, strong SQL skills in AzureSQL, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in core-PHP web applications.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Ability to write and update AzureSQL queries.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap (or similar).

• Add new features and functionality to the existing web application written in core-PHP.
• Enhance the performance, responsiveness, and reliability of the application.
• Elevate code quality and readability by migrating from core-PHP to a modern framework such as Laravel.
• Integrate the application with external systems and services through REST APIs.
• Write and/or update queries in AzureSQL databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams for solution delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Core-PHP web application development experience.
• Proficiency in connecting to other applications via REST API.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Ability to write and update AzureSQL queries.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap (or similar lightweight front-end frameworks).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience migrating legacy core-PHP codebases to frameworks like Laravel.
• Good understanding of application architecture and design principles. Hands-on experience with GitLab source control management (SCM).
• Familiarity with application deployment using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
