Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver e-marketing activities for Elsevier STM Journals and Conferences within quality standards and SLAs.
• Act as a super user for marketing tools and provide feedback on developments to Marketing Communications Managers.
• Improve product webpages and websites, maintain online presence, and manage escalations with stakeholders.
• Create and manage email marketing collateral, analyze channels to increase conversions and actions.
• Lead or support MCRED projects and advise on online marketing best practices.
• Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and trends to optimise workflows.

About the Role

To support the STM Journals division by successful management and delivery of all aspects of marketing for the Conference and journal product lines. Provision of support to e-Marketing team as needed to ensure standards, targets are met and deadlines are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily workloads, support the team in meeting SLAs, resolve IT or technical issues quickly, and share professional expertise.
• Plan, manage, and deliver e-marketing activities for Elsevier STM Journals and Conferences within agreed quality standards and SLAs.
• Act as a super user for relevant marketing tools and systems, and provide feedback on developments and functionality to Marketing Communications Managers and Publishing.
• Improve product webpages and websites, maintain the online presence, and manage escalations or sensitive stakeholder issues in a timely manner.
• Create and manage email marketing collateral, advise on requirements gathering, release testing, technical feasibility, and project planning, and analyse channels to increase conversions and actions.
• Lead or support key MCRED projects, identify team improvement and skill-development needs, and advise business contacts on online marketing best practices.
• Evaluate emerging marketing technologies, trends, communication techniques, and media regulations, while periodically optimising workflows to improve efficiency and quality.

Hands on knowledge of AI tools to improve workflows and add value.
• Marketing and delivery skills: Bring online marketing and web-publishing expertise, awareness of browsers and platforms, excellent written and verbal English, workload prioritization, deadline management, project management, the ability to work under pressure, and the ability to coach non-technical colleagues.
• Education and experience: Hold a university degree, preferably an MBA in Marketing, with 3–4 years of relevant experience, ideally in a digital marketing role.
