Job summary

Coforge Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud data platforms. You will drive enterprise data transformation initiatives and guide data engineering teams toward robust data governance.

Ideal candidates have 15–20 years in data engineering/architecture, deep AWS expertise (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift), and a proven record building modern data warehouses with strong leadership and delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15 to 20 years of experience in data engineering / data architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS data ecosystem and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on with Python, Airflow, Redshift, EMR, Glue, and data modelling.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and modern data warehouses.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead large-scale cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines using Python and Airflow.
• Build scalable data processing frameworks leveraging S3, Glue, EMR, and Redshift.
• Drive real-time data ingestion and streaming solutions using Kafka, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Lead integration initiatives through APIs, Fivetran, AppFlow, and other enterprise tools.
• Develop and optimize enterprise data warehousing and data modelling solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural governance to data engineering teams.
• Ensure data security, compliance, reliability, and performance across platforms.
