Job summary

Coforge Ltd. is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design scalable cloud data platforms and drive enterprise data transformation. You will architect large-scale solutions on AWS, lead data pipelines with Python and Airflow, and oversee data warehousing and modelling across S3, Redshift, Glue, and EMR.

The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and collaboration with data engineering teams to ensure security, reliability, and performance across environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS data ecosystem and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Airflow, Redshift, EMR, Glue, and data modelling.
• Experience in building enterprise-scale data platforms and modern data warehouses.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead large-scale cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines using Python and Airflow.
• Build scalable data processing frameworks leveraging S3, Glue, EMR, and Redshift.
• Drive real-time data ingestion and streaming solutions using Kafka, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Lead integration initiatives through APIs, Fivetran, AppFlow, and other enterprise tools.
• Develop and optimize enterprise data warehousing and data modelling solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural governance to data engineering teams.
• Ensure data security, compliance, reliability, and performance across platforms.
