Job summary

Brillio is seeking an AWS Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data integration and API solutions on AWS. The role requires deep expertise in serverless architectures, data engineering, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration patterns.

You will work with Product Owners and Engineering teams to build secure, high-performing data platforms enabling seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with AWS architecture
• Hands-on with AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3, Aurora/RDS
• Strong in REST APIs, OAuth2, mTLS, security best practices
• Experience in serverless data integration and ETL pipelines
• Proficiency in Python or Java and data modeling

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data integration solutions on AWS
• Lead serverless ETL pipelines for data ingestion and publishing
• Architect RESTful APIs with best practices for versioning, security, and performance
• Implement secure auth using Cognito, OAuth2, and mTLS

About the Role

You will work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to build secure, high-performing, and reliable data platforms that enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data integration solutions using AWS services.
• Lead the development of serverless ETL pipelines usingAWS Gluefor data ingestion, transformation, and publishing.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs usingAWS LambdaandAPI Gateway, ensuring best practices around versioning, pagination, security, and performance.
• Design secure authentication and authorization mechanisms usingAWS Cognito, OAuth2, andMutual TLS (mTLS).
• Build event-driven and decoupled architectures leveragingAWS SQS, S3, and related AWS services.
• Design and optimize relational data models usingAmazon Aurora (MySQL)andRDS Proxy.
