Job summary

Dr Lal PathLabs is seeking a Lab Technician for our Marathahalli, Bangalore lab. The candidate will perform analytical tests, manage routine and non-routine testing activities, and ensure timely reporting while maintaining quality control documentation.

Applicants should hold DMLT/BMLT/Bvoc MLT qualifications and have 3-8 years of laboratory experience, with adherence to safety and SOPs. The role is based in Bangalore’s Marathahalli area.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing procedures accurately and timely in the assigned lab.
• Carry out routine and non-routine activities related to laboratory testing and reporting; maintain quality control.
• Maintain required records and documentation as per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Handle specimens following SOPs for processing, testing, reporting and maintaining patient results.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures; review and release test results.
• Adhere to quality control, instrument calibration and safety guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

To perform assigned analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner in the assigned lab.

To perform routine and non-routine activities pertaining to laboratory testing and reporting and maintaining external and Internal Quality control

Maintain required records and documentation.

Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result.

Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures as per SOP's, review and release test results.

Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, instrument and procedural calibrations and follow safety guidelines as per established organization protocols.
