Job summary

Dr Lal PathLabs in Palampur (Himachal Pradesh) is seeking a Lab Technician to perform analytical testing with accuracy and timeliness in the laboratory. You will handle routine and non-routine testing activities, ensure proper documentation, and maintain quality control as per SOPs.

The role requires DMLT/BMLT/CMLT/Bvoc MLT qualifications and 1-5 years of experience. The candidate should be diligent in specimen handling, reporting, and safety compliance within a busy lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing procedures accurately, precisely, and timely in the assigned lab.
• Carry out routine and non-routine activities related to laboratory testing and reporting; maintain quality control.
• Maintain records and documentation as per SOPs and lab procedures.
• Follow specimen handling, processing, test analyses, and reporting procedures; ensure patient results are accurate.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures, review and release results.
• Adhere to quality control policies, instrument calibration, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with organization protocols and SOPs.

Role & responsibilities

To perform assigned analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner in the assigned lab.

To perform routine and non-routine activities pertaining to laboratory testing and reporting and maintaining external and Internal Quality control

Maintain required records and documentation.

Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result.

Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures as per SOP's, review and release test results.

Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, instrument and procedural calibrations and follow safety guidelines as per established organization protocols.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Qualification: DMLT, BMLT, CMLT, Bvoc MLT
