Job summary

Dr Lal PathLabs in Durgapur, West Bengal invites applications for an Apprentice- Lab Technician. The role supports analytical testing procedures in the lab, learning on the job under supervision, and contributing to timely reporting.

Candidates with DMLT, BMLT, CMLT or Bvoc MLT and 0–1 year of experience are welcome. The position is on-site in Durgapur and offers exposure to quality control, specimen handling, and standard lab operations.

Qualifications

• DMLT, BMLT, CMLT or Bvoc MLT qualifications.
• 0–1 year of laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• To perform assigned analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner in the assigned lab.
• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing and reporting, and maintain quality control.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting.
• Record patient test results and ensure accurate data management.
• Adhere to QC policies, instrument calibrations, and safety guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

• To perform routine and non-routine activities pertaining to laboratory testing and reporting and maintaining external and Internal Quality control
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting
• and maintaining records of patient test result.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures as per SOP's, review and release test results.
• Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, instrument
• and procedural calibrations and follow safety guidelines as per established organization protocols.
