Job summary

WillWare Technologies in Kolkata, India, seeks an experienced IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) Developer with hands-on expertise in WCS, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations. You will design and implement WCS features, customize services and data models, and build integrations with OMS, payment systems, and Kafka.

Qualifications

• Experience in IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) development.
• Strong hands-on experience in WCS development, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Design and develop WCS features; customize services and data models; build integrations with OMS and payment systems and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features using IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS).
• Customize WCS services, business logic, controllers, commands, and data models.
• Develop scalable backend solutions using Java/J2EE.
• Work with SQL and relational databases for data retrieval and processing.
• Develop and consume REST APIs using Spring Boot.
• Implement event-based integrations using Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Build and maintain integrations between WCS and enterprise applications such as OMS and payment systems.
• Design and implement messaging-based integrations using Kafka.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in application testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Work closely with architects, developers, business teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise development standards.
