Job summary

Della Resorts and Adventure in Pune seeks a Waterproofing Engineer to inspect, plan, and execute waterproofing solutions across buildings and structures, protecting against water leakage and moisture damage.

You will supervise material application, read technical drawings, coordinate with contractors and safety teams, and prepare reports on defects and progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs, basements, terraces, bathrooms, water tanks, foundations for leakage
• Identify causes of seepage, dampness, cracks, and water intrusion
• Recommend waterproofing systems such as membranes, coatings, sealants, treatments
• Supervise surface prep, application, curing, finishing
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, civil teams, maintenance staff
• Ensure work per drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Conduct quality checks, leakage tests, and post-application inspections
• Prepare reports on defects, corrective actions, and progress
• Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements

The role involves selecting suitable materials, supervising application work, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with project teams to protect structural integrity and extend service life.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs, basements, terraces, bathrooms, water tanks, foundations, and other areas prone to leakage.
• Identify causes of seepage, dampness, cracks, and water intrusion.
• Recommend appropriate waterproofing systems such as membranes, coatings, sealants, and chemical treatments.
• Supervise surface preparation, application, curing, and finishing of waterproofing materials.
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, civil teams, and maintenance staff.
• Ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks, leakage tests, and post-application inspections.
