Arup in Bengaluru is seeking a motivated Civil/Water Engineer to support pumped drainage design for transport infrastructure projects. You will handle drainage catchment assessments, sump sizing, hydraulic analysis and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across international projects.

We are seeking a motivated Civil/Water Engineer to support pumped drainage design for transport infrastructure projects in Singapore, including roads, rail, tunnels, and stations. The role involves drainage catchment assessments, sump sizing, pump duty calculations, hydraulic analysis, design documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should have experience in drainage, stormwater, wastewater, utilities, or civil infrastructure design. Prior pumped drainage experience is desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone with strong engineering fundamentals, attention to detail, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will proactively identify design risks, challenge assumptions, and contribute to improving design quality, efficiency, and digital workflows.
