Job summary

EPAM Systems invites a seasoned WAN Vendor & Lifecycle Specialist to manage the global WAN estate. You will liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure SLAs are met and lifecycle activities are executed with precision.

The role requires strong capabilities in supplier governance, contract terms, and service lifecycle management, across multinational sites. Hybrid or on-site options may be offered.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years total IT experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in carrier/vendor management.
• Experience managing multinational WAN estates.
• Familiarity with enterprise contracts and terms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for all global network service providers, telecom carriers, and hardware vendors.
• Monitor, review, and report on vendor performance against contractual SLAs and KPIs.
• Partner with Procurement and Legal teams to negotiate pricing, renewals, and master service agreements.
• Act as internal escalation point for chronic carrier outages or unresolved provider service tickets.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all active network circuits and SD-WAN hardware assets.
• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of new circuit installations, migrations, disconnects, and upgrades across global sites.
• Track hardware End-of-Life and End-of-Support milestones to plan refresh cycles.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering to schedule implementation windows and minimize disruption.
• Audit monthly telecom and carrier invoices to identify billing discrepancies and unused lines.
• Open, track, and resolve billing disputes with vendors to secure refunds and credits.
