Job summary

SHI India is hosting a walk-in for Associate Security Analyst – SOC in Hyderabad. The role focuses on monitoring, triage, and incident response within an active SOC team, with emphasis on SIEM, XDR, and security tooling.

Preferred candidates will hold recognized cybersecurity certifications, possess strong communication skills, and be ready for a 24/7 rotating shift. Immediate joiners are favored for this Hyderabad opportunity.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold at least one globally recognized cybersecurity certification, such as listed.
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory for eligibility.
• Only immediate joiners or those with ≤15 days notice will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts across SIEM, SOAR, XDR, firewall, cloud, identity, and email security platforms.
• Investigate phishing emails, suspicious URLs, attachments, impersonation attempts, and BEC indicators.
• Perform initial incident analysis and escalate incidents appropriately.
• Assist in investigating malware, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.
• Maintain incident tickets, investigation reports, and SOC documentation.
• Participate in threat hunting and security monitoring activities.

Important Eligibility Criteria

• Perform initial incident analysis and elevate incidents appropriately.
• Assist in investigating malware, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.
• Maintain incident tickets, investigation reports, and SOC documentation.
• Participate in threat hunting and security monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams on incident response and vulnerability remediation.
