Required Technical Skill Set: SOC, SIEM, EDR Tools

Desired Experience Range: 4+ years in IT field

Job Description

1. Monitor security technologies such as SIEM, Antivirus, Vulnerability management, Web Proxy, Security Patch management.
2. Perform incident and event analysis.
3. Respond to and handle security incidents.
4. Coordinate reporting and monitoring requirements with business stakeholders.
5. Research emerging security threats.
6. Update SOPs and training documentation.
7. Coach junior team members.
8. Proficient with SIEM tools like QROC, Arcsight, SPLUNK, or Sentinel.
9. Knowledge of PCs, LAN topologies, routers, hubs, and terminal servers.
10. Familiarity with security applications such as IDS, Security Event Management, and anomaly detection tools.
11. Understanding of VPN technology.
12. Experience with investigation tools like FTK imager, memory dump, threat analysis tools.
13. Ability to interpret network diagrams.
14. Support facilities for other offices in the UK and provide guidance as needed.
15. Translate event analysis findings into monitoring proposals.
16. Maintain flexibility for 24/7 shifts and varied tasks.
