Job summary

PwC is seeking a cybersecurity generalist to join our Cybersecurity and Privacy services team in India. You will help clients implement robust cybersecurity programs, protect client systems and data, and apply a broad range of cybersecurity principles across multiple domains.

You will work on threat monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement with playbooks and SIEM tools, aiming to strengthen security postures for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response/Threat Detection Engineering/Vulnerability Management/SOC platform management/Automation/Asset Integration/Threat Intel Management/Threat Hunting.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response/Threat Detection Engineering/Vulnerability Management/SOC platform management/Automation/Asset Integration/Threat Intel Management/Threat Hunting.
• Mandatory certifications (EC-Council, CIFI, CEH, Security+ or equivalent); product certifications on SOC tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Round the clock threat monitoring and detection.
• Analysis of suspicious, malicious, and abnormal behavior.
• Alert triage, initial assessment, incident validation, severity and urgency assessment.
• Prioritization of security alerts and creation of incidents per SOPs.
• Reporting and escalation to stakeholders.
• Post-incident analysis and playbook-driven recommendations.
• Develop and maintain incident management and response policies and procedures.
• Preserve security alerts/incidents artefacts for forensic purposes.
• Adhere to SLAs and KPIs; reduce MTTD/MTTR.

Job Description &Summary:

Mandatory skill sets

Mandatory (Any-one): - Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (EC-Council), Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council), CompTIA Security+, CompTIACySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent. Product Certifications (Preferred): - Product Certifications on SOC Security Tools such as SIEM/Vulnerability Management/ DAM/UBA/ SOAR/NBA etc.
