Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SQL DBA to maintain and optimize large SQL Server environments. You will handle deployments, upgrades, backups, recovery, and routine maintenance as part of a global technology team.

The role targets professionals with 5–10 years of hands-on DB experience, including maintenance automation using SQL Agent and familiarity with production support. Knowledge of RAC, GoldenGate, and Oracle 19c is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience on SQL Server 2014/16/19 installation and upgrade activities.
• Database backup and restore, including Point-in-Time Recovery.
• Experience in database version upgrades.
• Database maintenance including index rebuilds, table re-org, and related tasks.
• Create and schedule SQL Server Agent jobs for maintenance and automation.
