Job summary

Indicon Construction is seeking a proactive accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting activities and project-based financial reporting. The role involves handling AP/AR/GL, vendor bills, GST/TDS compliance, and preparing monthly MIS, P&L and balance sheets.

The candidate should have experience with project costing, cash flow management, and coordinating with site and commercial teams. ERP proficiency and strong accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with practical accounting experience.
• Experience with GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting including AP, AR, GL, cash and bank transactions.
• Maintain project-wise accounts, costing, expenses and profitability reports.
• Verify vendor, supplier and subcontractor bills including RA bills and retention payments.
• Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations and financial reports.
• Monitor project expenses, budgets, cash flow and cost variances.
• Coordinate with site, procurement, commercial and project teams.
• Support internal, statutory and tax audits.
• Ensure records and compliance with accounting policies.
