About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with data, identifying risks, improving operational efficiency through automation, and delivering high-quality outcomes. This role requires someone proactive, adaptable, and committed to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse large volumes of data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
• Design, build, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
• Develop automated workflows and reporting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor business and operational risk metrics, investigate exceptions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all analyses and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce operational risks.
• Meet individual and team KPIs while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, subqueries, query optimisation, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
