You will resolve patient and payer credit balances, process refunds with meticulous documentation, and communicate with clinics and patients to fix discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical claims payment posting, cash research and refunds processing.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance reimbursement.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-9/10, HCPCS and insurance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with medical billing systems such as eCW, Centricity, and Epic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and provide data-driven solutions.

• 3+ years of experience in medical claims payment posting, cash research, and refunds processing.

• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-9/10, and HCPCS codes and insurance regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working with medical billing systems such as e-Clinical Works (eCW), Centricity (CPS), Epic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize trends and provide data-driven solutions.
