Job summary

Srak Prestek Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Powder Coating Operator to operate and maintain coating equipment, ensure quality finishes, and meet production targets in a sheet metal environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with powder coating processes, surface pretreatment, and defect handling, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. This on-site position may require shifts to ensure daily targets are met.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in powder coating operations.
• Knowledge of metal surface preparation and pretreatment processes.
• Understanding of coating defects and corrective actions.
• Ability to operate spray guns and monitor curing oven parameters.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection instruments and coating thickness measurement.
• Awareness of industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate powder coating equipment, spray guns, and curing ovens.
• Prepare metal components through cleaning, pretreatment, and surface preparation.
• Ensure proper powder application, coating thickness, uniformity, and finish quality.
• Monitor oven temperature, curing time, and other process parameters.
• Perform routine checks on coating equipment and report maintenance requirements.
• Identify and rectify coating defects such as pinholes, orange peel, uneven coating, and poor adhesion.
• Maintain production records and follow standard operating procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of powder materials and minimize wastage.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the coating area.
• Coordinate with the quality and production teams to meet daily production targets.
