Job summary

2ndLife, the refurbishment arm of 2nds Commerce, seeks Junior Technicians for our Bangalore workshop. This hands-on bench role trains you in commercial refrigeration repair from the ground up.

Responsibilities include fault diagnosis, brazing, refrigerant handling, and pass/fail tests. Freshers are welcome; training is provided, with a listed salary for immediate start.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, or Electronics.
• Freshers (0–1 year) welcome.
• Willing to do hands-on bench repair work at Bengaluru workshop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming used units and identify faults in compressor, gas, thermostat, wiring, and controls.
• Test, repair and replace compressors.
• Evacuate and recharge refrigerant; perform pressure and leak testing.
• Carry out brazing and copper piping repairs.
• Diagnose and fix electrical/electronic faults; test and sign-off.
• Run electrical safety and performance checks before sign-off; log work.

2ndLife is the refurbishment arm of 2nds Commerce. We take in used commercial refrigeration appliances, diagnose faults,

repair them, and restore them to working condition for resale. Were hiring Junior Technicians for our Bangalore workshop,

and this is a hands-on bench role where you’ll learn commercial refrigeration repair from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming used units and identify faults in the compressor, gas, thermostat, wiring, electronic controls or body
• Test, repair and replace compressors
• Evacuate and recharge refrigerant, and carry out pressure and leak testing
• Carry out brazing and copper piping repairs
• Diagnose and fix electrical and electronic faults: thermostats, relays, overload protectors, controllers, wiring
• Run electrical safety and performance checks before sign-off
• Reassemble units and run-test them before sign-off
• Log parts used and work done for every unit in our digital work order system

Eligibility

ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), Electrical, or Electronics

Freshers (0–1 year)

Willing to do hands-on bench repair work at our Bangalore workshop
