Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications. You will work with Java Core, Spring Boot, and microservices to build robust services and APIs.

You will leverage Apache Kafka for streaming data, implement REST APIs, apply design patterns, and participate in CI/CD and cloud deployments on Azure. Strong debugging, leadership, and mentoring skills are valued in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java Core, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions, stream processing).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, event-driven and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of design patterns, clean coding practices, and system design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and deployment automation.
• Exposure to cloud platform Azure is preferred.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving with defect triaging and production issue resolution.
• Ability to work with business teams and call out technical gaps or risks proactively.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (Splunk, OpenSearch).
• Agile experience.
