Job summary

WillWare Technologies is seeking an experienced Java Microservices Developer to design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications. The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices with Kafka and Google Cloud Platform expertise, delivering scalable, reliable services.

The ideal candidate will design RESTful APIs, integrate complex systems, and implement CI/CD pipelines while ensuring security and performance norms in a hybrid Pan-India environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Java backend development experience.
• Hands-on with microservices, Kafka, and cloud deployments.
• Proficient in Google Cloud Platform services and REST API design.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate services with internal/external systems.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Work with Kafka producers/consumers, topics, partitions, and message processing.
• Build highly available, fault-tolerant microservices for cloud environments.
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Utilize GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Monitor performance, logs, and production issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying scalable cloud‑native applications and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Java 8/11/17/21 and Spring Boot.

• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate microservices with internal and external systems.

• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

• Work with Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, and message processing.

• Develop highly available and fault-tolerant microservices for cloud environments.

• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Work with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Secret Manager.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment.

• Monitor application performance, logs, and production issues using cloud monitoring and logging tools.

• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.

• Follow coding standards, security best practices, and Agile development methodologies.
