Job summary

TATA Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks a GenAI Engineer with 5–12 years of hands-on AI/ML experience to design, build, and deploy scalable ML/AI solutions.

You will work on Generative AI, LangChain, NLP, and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud services, collaborating across teams to deliver production-grade systems.

Strong communication and documentation skills are essential to document models, data dictionaries, and APIs for maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, CS, IS, Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML models including Generative AI, LangChain and NLP
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, software architecture, libraries and frameworks to create AI that accomplishes outlined goals
• Rigorous knowledge of Python programming to develop software. Java is a plus
• Skillful in developing and maintaining detailed, easy-to-read documentation including data dictionaries, model documentation, and code documentation
• Experience in integrating AI/ML into existing applications in batch and real-time
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate within and outside the team
• Ability to write and understand complex SQL(Hive/PySpark-dataframes) and optimize data pipelines. Experience with NoSQL is a plus
• Experience in Big Data ecosystem & Cloud technologies is nice to have
• Experience with GitHub and leveraging CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in taking models through AI/ML governance in highly regulated industry is a plus
