Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a hands-on AI/ML engineer to design and deploy ML pipelines on Google Cloud. You will work with Python, NLP, and Generative AI tools like LangChain to build scalable models and maintain code documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Data Science, CS, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models including Generative AI and NLP.
• In-depth knowledge of ML algorithms, software architecture, and libraries.
• Strong Python programming skills; Java a plus.
• Ability to document data dictionaries, models, and code clearly.
• Experience integrating AI/ML into batch and real-time applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication within teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize ML pipelines using Google Cloud Services.
• Develop core Python code, OOPs, modules, and data structures.
• Work with ML libraries: NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Implement NLP/OCR: spaCy, NLTK, Transformers, Gensim, Tesseract, EasyOCR.
• Leverage Generative AI with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, FAISS/Pinecone.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain thorough documentation.

More details on the requirement / Skills:

• Bachelors or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML models including Generative AI, LangChain and NLP
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, software architecture, libraries and frameworks to create AI that accomplishes outlined goals
• Rigorous knowledge of Python programming to develop software. Java is a plus.
• Skillful in developing and maintaining detailed, easy-to-read documentation including data dictionaries, model documentation, and code documentation
• Experience in integrating AI/ML into existing applications in batch and real-time
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate within and outside the team
• Ability to write and understand complex SQL(Hive/PySpark-dataframes) and optimize data pipelines. Experience with NoSQL is a plus
• Experience in Big Data ecosystem & Cloud technologies is nice to have
• Experience with GitHub and leveraging CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in taking models through AI/ML governance in highly regulated industry is a plus
