Job summary

Deloitte US-India Offices is seeking a Gen AI and Data Engineer II to help design, build and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions across the software lifecycle. You will work in the AI & Data team, collaborating with experts to transform client platforms and analytics capabilities.

Applicants should have 6–12 years of hands-on AI experience, strong Python/CUDA/ML framework skills, and familiarity with modern LLMs and cloud services.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI, Deep Learning, or NLP.
• Experience with Python, CUDA, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
• Experience with large language models including GPT-3.5/4, Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Llama 3.0, and Mistral.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, transformers, and diffusion models.
• Experience with hyperscaler platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle.

Work you'll do

As a Gen AI-AI and Data Science Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:

• Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
• Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
• Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.

Qualifications

Required:

• 6-12 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing
• Experience with Python, CUDA, Structured Query Language, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
• Experience with large language models including OpenAI GPT-3.5/4, Google Gemini, Amazon Web Services Bedrock, Llama 3.0, and Mistral
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, generative adversarial networks, transformer architecture, and diffusion models
• Experience with hyperscaler platforms including NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle
• Experience delivering large-scale Artificial Intelligence or Generative AI projects
• BE, BTech, MCA, or MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent degree

Preferred:

• Experience with vector databases and Neo4j or other graph databases
