Job summary

TATA Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a skilled GCP DevOps engineer to design, develop and deploy GCP resources as infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, and to contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines. The role is onsite in Chennai with exposure to modern cloud practices.

The ideal candidate has 5–12 years of experience, deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform and Sentinel, plus hands‑on experience with Jenkins, GitHub and SonarQube.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, develop and deploy GCP resources as Infra-as-code using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube).
• Familiarity with Agile Practices and Frameworks.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Container technologies: Docker, Helm.
• Agile development practices - TDD, BDD, automated builds, CI.

Experience: 5 to 12yrs

Requirements:

• Experience in design, develop and deploy GCP resources as Infra-as-code in Google Cloud Platform. Delivered platforms based on the principles of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• Strong Knowledge in Automation frameworks, CI/CD process and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar Cube etc.) is a must
• Strong Knowledge in Terraform and Sentinel is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile Practices and Frameworks
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes
• Container technologies for building and deploying applications: Docker, Helm, Kubernetes
• Agile development practices - TDD, BDD, automated builds, continuous integration, tooling to test code quality
• Good to have:
• Good knowledge on Java microservices with GCP exposure
• Good to have: Python, GitHUb
