Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong GCP Infra-as-Code experience to design, develop and deploy cloud resources using Terraform. The role requires automation, CI/CD expertise with Jenkins and GitHub, and familiarity with Kubernetes and container tooling such as Docker and Helm. Experience with Agile practices and code quality tooling is essential.

Knowledge of Python is a plus. Candidates with Java microservices exposure on GCP will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, develop and deploy GCP resources as Infra-as-code using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube).
• Familiarity with Agile practices and frameworks; knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker, Helm).
• Experience with agile development practices (TDD, BDD, automated builds, CI) and code quality tooling.
• Nice to have: Java microservices on GCP; Python knowledge.

Requirements:

• Experience in design, develop and deploy GCP resources as Infra-as-code in Google Cloud Platform. Delivered platforms based on the principles of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• Strong Knowledge in Automation frameworks, CI/CD process and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar Cube etc.) is a must
• Strong Knowledge in Terraform and Sentinel is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile Practices and Frameworks
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes
• Container technologies for building and deploying applications: Docker, Helm, Kubernetes
• Agile development practices - TDD, BDD, automated builds, continuous integration, tooling to test code quality
• Good to have:
• Good knowledge on Java microservices with GCP exposure
• Good to have: Python, GitHUb
