Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a GCP DevOps professional in Chennai to design and implement robust cloud pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure scalable, secure production environments.

The role requires 5–15 years of experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling. Hands-on scripting and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for steady release cycles.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM, and VPC.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), containerization with Docker, and microservices deployment.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools.
• Strong scripting knowledge in Python, Shell/Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, scalability, and high availability.
• Expertise in DevOps tools such as Git, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Artifact Registry.
• Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, Secrets Management, Network Security, and Compliance controls.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments using Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Architecture teams to automate deployments, improve release cycles, and ensure platform reliability.
