Job summary

Falcon Toolings is seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models for components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies. You will create and modify designs from customer drawings, using AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and ensure dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, surface finish and material specs are met.

Collaboration with production, quality and planning teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to read and interpret customer drawings.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical design practices.
• Attention to details and precision in drafting.

• Make necessary design modifications based on production and quality feedback.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

2-6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / machining / tooling / engineering design
