Job summary

Jakson Group is hiring for field technician positions in Haridwar and nearby locations to service DG sets across multiple branches. The role involves field work, travel within assigned zones, and on-site repairs, with focus on safety and precise documentation.

The ideal candidate holds ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and has 0–1 year experience in DG set servicing, with knowledge of Cummins/Kirloskar/Mahindra DG sets and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 0 to 1 years in DG set servicing.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Cummins/Kirloskar/Mahindra DG sets.
• Soft Skills: Good communication and documentation skills.
• Customer-centric attitude with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled preventive maintenance of diesel generator sets.
• Provide on-site breakdown support and repairs.
• Handle warranty and post-warranty service for DG sets.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot control panels, alternators, engines, and related components.
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation.
• Educate customers on usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams for spares availability and issue escalation.
