Job summary

Rapyder is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for robust deployments. You will manage Amazon EKS clusters, automate infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible, and administer AWS services to ensure high availability and security.

Ideal candidates will have deep AWS/Kubernetes hands-on expertise, strong Linux skills, and a security-first mindset, with a track record of optimizing performance and cost across microservices architectures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
• Manage and maintain Amazon EKS clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Administer and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, Route 53, ELB, and CloudWatch.
• Manage Linux-based EC2 instances supporting multiple applications.
• Implement deployment strategies such as Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
• Monitor infrastructure health, application performance, and security using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Enforce DevSecOps best practices, IAM policies, RBAC, and secrets management.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Kubernetes Certification (CKA/CKAD or equivalent) is preferred.
