Job summary

JMT Consultants Detailing Private Limited Noida is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for the Steel team. The role emphasizes steel detailing, project coordination, and independent management in the PM's absence.

Candidates should have 7+ years in steel detailing, strong Tekla Structures skills, and experience with AISC/CISC standards and US commercial projects. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. in Civil or Mechanical
• Diploma: Any Postgraduate in Civil/Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Requires strong experience with Structural Steel Detailing & Designing work
• Assist the Project Manager with daily coordination and management of projects and staff
• Monitor project progress and provide status updates to the Project Manager
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and suggest process improvements
• Organize and maintain all project documentation and records
• Enter, update, and maintain information in digital project databases
• Support coordination and oversight from planning to completion
• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs and design change summaries
• Manage the project independently in the PM's absence

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dedicated team in Steel team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Requires strong experience with Structural Steel Detailing & Designing work
• Serve as a key contributor during the strategic planning phase of upcoming packages & projects, providing insights and support to ensure successful project execution
• Assist the Project Manager with the daily coordination and management of projects and staff to ensure quality standards, client expectations, and project schedules are consistently met
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates directly to the Project Manager
• Identify and resolve project-related issues while recommending process improvements to enhance overall project performance
• Organize, maintain, and manage all current project documentation and records in an accurate and efficient manner
• Enter, update, and maintain information within digital project databases and management systems
• Support the coordination and oversight of projects from initial planning through final completion
• Prepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and design change summaries throughout the project lifecycle
• Should be able to manage the project independently in PM's absence

Qualifications:

• Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. - Civil, Mechanical
• Diploma: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, PG Diploma - Any Specialization, Civil, Mechanical
• 7+ Years of experience in the Steel Detailing industry willing to consider candidates who can demonstrate significant experience in a related field
• Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures
• Must have strong knowledge of AISC & CISC Standards
• Considerable proficiency and experience in working on US commercial Projects
• Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings
• Proven project management and coordination skills
• Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance
• Deadline-driven with attention to detail
• Must have 5+ years experience in AISC / CISC Projects
• Must have good communication skills. (Written & spoken)
• Must have good experience in Model Checking & Erection Checking
