Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal and contra entries.
• Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, cash and ledger accounts.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
• Prepare accounts payable and accounts receivable statements.
• Follow up for outstanding receivables and maintain ageing reports.
• Assist in monthly closing of books of accounts.
• Prepare routine MIS reports and management statements.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and vendors whenever required.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related activities assigned by management.
