M/S Veer Hanuman Shakti Solar Enterprises in Prayagraj (Allahabad) seeks an experienced accounting professional to maintain day-to-day records, GST compliance, and project accounting for solar EPC projects. You will manage invoicing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting while coordinating with management and the CA team.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Extensive accounting experience (about 24 years) in solar, electrical, trading, EPC or manufacturing businesses.
• Strong GST knowledge including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation and input tax credit.
• Proficiency with Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Experience with bank reconciliation, ledgers, payables/receivables, and vendor/customer reconciliation.
• Knowledge of inventory and project-wise accounting for EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records: sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare invoices, purchase bills, vouchers, debit/credit notes.
• Maintain Tally or other accounting software and ledger posting.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor customer outstanding balances and vendor payments.
• Maintain accounts receivable/payable records and follow up on pending payments.
• Manage inventory and stock accounting for solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, and equipment.
• Maintain project-wise accounting for solar installations and EPC projects.
• Track employee advances, reimbursements, expenses, and salary entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L statements, and cash-flow summaries.
• Document POs, delivery challans, e-way bills, and other statutory docs.
• Coordinate with management, vendors, customers, and CA for taxation and audit.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase bills, vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Maintain Tally or other accounting software and ensure accurate ledger posting.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor customer outstanding balances and vendor payments.
• Maintain accounts receivable and payable records and follow up on pending payments from customers.
• Manage inventory and stock accounting for solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, electrical equipment, and other materials.
• Maintain project-wise accounting records for solar installations and EPC projects.
• Track employee advances, reimbursements, expenses, and salary-related accounting entries.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and cash-flow summaries.
• Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, delivery challans, e-way bills, and other statutory documents, wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with the management, vendors, customers, and Chartered Accountant for accounting, taxation, and audit requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of all accounting activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 24 years of practical experience in accounting, preferably in solar, electrical, trading, EPC, or manufacturing businesses.
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of GST, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, purchase and sales reconciliation, and GST input tax credit.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, stock registers, purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills.
• Ability to maintain project-wise expenses, customer outstanding reports, cash-flow records, and monthly financial statements.
• Familiarity with TDS, income tax documentation, and coordination with Chartered Accountants for statutory compliance.
• Good numerical accuracy, attention to detail, honesty, and a responsible approach to financial records.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with management, vendors, customers, and other team members.
• Candidates based in Prayagraj or willing to work in Prayagraj will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in a solar EPC company or electrical goods trading business will receive preference.
