Responsibilities

Job Overview

Narayana Solar is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage financial records, GST compliance, and daily accounting operations. The candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, maintain financial reports, and support the management in making financial decisions.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping & Accounting
   • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software.
   • Record sales, purchase, receipts, and payment vouchers.
   • Maintain proper ledger, journal entries, and bank entries.
2. GST & Tax Compliance
   • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
   • Handle input tax credit reconciliation.
   • Ensure GST compliance for solar projects and purchases.
3. Bank & Cash Management
   • Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
   • Monitor cash flow and daily transactions.
   • Maintain records of customer payments and vendor payments.
4. Accounts Receivable & Payable
   • Track customer invoices and payments.
   • Manage vendor bills and payment schedules.
   • Follow up for outstanding payments.
5. Financial Reporting
   • Prepare monthly financial reports.
   • Assist in profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
   • Provide financial insights to management.
6. Documentation & Compliance
   • Maintain proper financial documents and audit records.
   • Assist during internal audit and statutory audit.
   • Ensure compliance with government regulations and financial policies.
