Job summary

India Filings Pvt Ltd is seeking an aspiring accounting professional in Navi Mumbai to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping and prepare key financial statements. You will handle GST, TDS, ITR filings, and assist with audits while ensuring compliance deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, ITR filing, and accounting principles.
• Practical experience in preparing Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/Tally.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and other financial statements.
• Manage GST compliance, including GST returns and reconciliations.
• Handle TDS calculations, payments, returns, and related compliance.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR).
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Assist with audits and provide required financial/accounting information.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory and tax-related compliances.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, auditors, and consultants as required.
