Job summary

A technology services company based in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Trading Application & Algo Tester to perform functional testing on capital market trading applications. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of experience, expertise in manual testing, and the ability to write SQL queries for data verification. Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology is essential. This role offers full-time employment and working from the office.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in software testing.
• Expertise in Manual Testing and defect management.

• Hands-on experience with HP-ALM and SQL-based data verification.

Responsibilities

Trading Application & Algo Tester Job Description

What he will do:

• Basic functional Testing of Capital Market Trading Application like Omnesys, Greeksoft, ODIN, etc.
• Identification of test scenarios, preparation and execution of test cases to verify application functionality against business requirements.
• Expertise in Manual Testing with defect management tool such as HP-ALM 12.53.
• Very good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Excellent skills in Defect Reporting.
• Extensive experience in Functional, Regression, Re-Testing, system and Sanity Testing.
• Knowledge on Agile methodology with scrum team.
• Scrum Meeting to discuss the Test status report.
• Excellent understanding of Defect life cycle.
• Designing and executing test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested.
• Design the Traceability Matrix to map Business Requirements with test Case.
• Conducted Test Case review and sent review comments to team mates.
• Experience in writing SQL Queries against database for data verification using SQL Server.
• Involved in Sanity, Smoke, Retesting, Regression, Functional and Non-Functional Testing.
