Job summary

Digirecruitx seeks a visionary VP of Engineering to define and execute the technology vision for a leading B2B IoT platform. You will drive IoT product engineering, AI-driven innovation, and platform scalability in close partnership with the CEO.

You will lead large teams across firmware, cloud, data, and applications, owning end-to-end platform development, analytics, and security. A strong background in cloud-native IoT, distributed systems, and AI/ML for IoT is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software and IoT product engineering leadership.
• Proven track record leading and scaling engineering teams.
• Experience as VP Engineering, Director Engineering, or similar senior leadership role.
• Strong background building and scaling B2B IoT platforms.
• Deep experience with IoT ecosystems including devices, sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms.
• Expertise in cloud native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data ingestion, real-time processing, and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on exposure to Node.js, React, Kubernetes, Redis, and IoT protocols.
• Experience applying AI, ML or analytics to IoT data.
• BE/B.Tech from a reputed institution.
• Leadership and strategic execution capabilities.
• Ability to translate business goals into scalable tech solutions.
• Passion for secure, reliable IoT products.
• Strong people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO on IoT product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution.

The Vice President Engineering will define and execute the companys technology vision in close partnership with the CEO and executive leadership. This role will lead IoT product engineering, AI driven innovation, platform scalability, and technical operations to deliver a secure, reliable, and scalable B2B IoT platform aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on IoT product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution
• Lead large engineering teams across firmware, cloud, data, and application layers
• Drive end to end development of IoT platforms including device integration, data pipelines, and analytics
• Own the AI and intelligent automation roadmap for IoT use cases
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of IoT platforms
• Define engineering best practices, architecture standards, and agile delivery processes
• Build, mentor, and retain high performing engineering leaders and teams
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders for seamless execution
• Provide hands on technical guidance on architecture, scalability, and complex problem solving when required

Mandatory Requirements

• 15+ of experience in software and IoT product engineering leadership
• Prior experience leading and scaling engineering teams is mandatory
