Job summary

DHR Holding India is seeking a Sr. Engineer - DevSecOps IoT to lead design, development and deployment of secure, scalable cloud platforms for intelligent automation across IoT product lines.

You will own cloud architecture, infrastructure provisioning, DevSecOps practices, data protection, and connectivity with production environments, with exposure to sensor data and industrial automation systems. Strong AWS and IaC skills are needed.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech (CS/IT or equivalent) with 6.5–9 years in DevSecOps/infrastructure automation, cloud platform engineering, IoT systems, and user-facing apps.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable API and IoT backend services that support real-time telemetry ingestion, low-latency processing, and cloud-based visualization for industrial applications.
• Architect microservices platforms for connected products with dashboards, user management, audit logging, and reporting capabilities.
• Build and operate secure cloud infrastructure using multi-environment deployment strategies.
• Support integration with edge devices, industrial PCs, and production-connected computing environments.
• Drive release efficiency and deployment reliability through reusable GitHub CI/CD workflows, CloudFormation-based deployments, and automated testing.
• Inherit and improve legacy components, ensuring continuity, reliability, and security of deployed IoT apps and infrastructure.

Job Summary

The Sr. Engineer - DevSecOps IoT role is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable cloud platforms that enable intelligent automation across IoT product lines. This role owns key aspects of cloud architecture, infrastructure provisioning, DevSecOps practices, data protection, reliable platform deployment, user-facing workflow integration, and connectivity with production-connected computing environments, with preferred exposure to sensor data, connected products, and industrial automation systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, build, and support scalable API and IoT backend services that support real-time telemetry ingestion, low-latency processing, and cloud-based visualization for industrial applications.
• Architect microservices platforms for connected product environments, including dashboarding data, user management, audit logging, and reporting capabilities.
• Build and operate secure cloud infrastructure using multi-environment / multi-account deployment strategies.
• Support integration with edge devices, industrial PCs, and production-connected computing environments.
• Drive release efficiency and deployment reliability through reusable GitHub CI/CD workflows, automated CloudFormation-based deployments, and automated testing.
• Inherit, understand, and improve existing legacy platform components by supporting ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, refactoring, documentation, and modernization efforts while ensuring continuity, reliability, and security of deployed IoT applications and infrastructure.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• B.E/B.Tech (CS/IT or equivalent) with at least 6.5 - 9 yrs of experience in DevSecOps/infrastructure automation, cloud platform engineering, IoT systems/connected products, and user-facing applications. Strong proficiency in software development (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React is highly desired.) Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, along with strong experience in AWS cloud services including CloudFormation, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, IoT Core, Timestream, and Step Functions. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Travel, motor vehicle record, physical/environment requirements: N/A

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Familiarity with sensors, PLCs, industrial automation systems, or machine connectivity.
• Experience with Windows-based Siemens IPCs.
• Familiarity with global deployment models and governance requirements across multiple business units.
