Job summary

Capgemini Bengaluru is seeking a Telecom Quality Engineer to execute end-to-end testing across 2G/3G/4G/5G, validate Voice Core and Data Core functions, and analyze network logs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage defects in ALM/JIRA, document results, and contribute to ongoing enhancements of network platforms in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The role offers exposure to MSC, HSS, IMS, EPC, AMF, SMF, UPF and strong learning opportunities in next‑generation networks.

Qualifications

• Experience in Voice Core and Data Core testing across 2G-5G networks.
• Hands-on exposure to telecom nodes such as MSC, HSS, HLR, IMS, EPC, PCRF, AMF, SMF, UPF.
• Solid understanding of telecom protocols SIP, DIAMETER, GTP, CAP, MAP, SS7.
• Experience in test execution, log analysis, defect management, and end-to-end telecom testing.
• Proficiency with telecom testing and troubleshooting tools and Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end telecom testing, validating core network functionalities across 2G-5G.
• Analyze network logs, run test cases, identify and report defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve performance.
• Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and execution records.
