Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer in Bengaluru to drive GCP-based infrastructure and DevOps practices across development to production. You will implement IaC with Terraform, manage containerized workloads with GKE and ArgoCD, and lead CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering, DevOps, AIOps, Observability, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
• Experience with Terraform, IaC, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of AIOps and observability including monitoring, event correlation, anomaly detection, RCA, predictive analytics, and automated remediation.

• Build data/event processing using Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kafka, Spark.
• Implement automated remediation and self-healing workflows.

In this role, you will:

• Having 6 years experience in Design, build, and manage scalable Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments across development, test, UAT, and production.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using GKE, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, and Jenkins.
• Implement AIOps and observability solutions for intelligent monitoring, event correlation, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and automated root cause analysis.
• Configure monitoring and logging solutions using Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Elastic Stack, and OpenTelemetry.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, REST APIs, JSON, and YAML to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Build and support data and event-processing solutions using Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kafka, and Spark.
• Implement automated remediation and self-healing workflows to improve service availability and operational reliability.
• Integrate cloud and observability solutions with ITSM, CMDB, ticketing, fault-management, and service-management platforms.
• Support cloud security and governance through IAM, RBAC, service accounts, Secret Manager, Cloud Armor, and related GCP security controls.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, SRE, operations, and telecom teams to troubleshoot complex production issues and continuously improve platform performance and reliability.

Your Profile

• 6+ years of overall experience in Cloud Platform Engineering, DevOps, AIOps, Observability, or related areas.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Good experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, or Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of AIOps and observability, including monitoring, event correlation, anomaly detection, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), predictive analytics, and automated remediation.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Elastic Stack, and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, Shell/Bash, REST APIs, JSON, and YAML.
• Good understanding of GCP networking and security, including VPC, IAM, RBAC, service accounts, Secret Manager, Cloud Armor, VPN, DNS, and load balancing.
• Experience integrating cloud and monitoring platforms with ITSM, CMDB, ticketing, fault management, and service management systems.
• Exposure to Vertex AI, AI/ML-driven operations, GenAI, or intelligent automation would be an advantage.
• Experience in Telecom OSS, NOC, Service Assurance, RAN, Core, or Transport networks is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
