Shree Umiya Industries is seeking a CNC programmer to read drawings and GD&T, and to develop CAM and manual G-code for 3-axis and 4-axis VMC machines. 5-axis knowledge is appreciated.

You will determine tools, fixtures and the process plan for each job and approve the first piece while adjusting programs as needed. In this role you will work to reduce cycle time, tool cost and rejection rates, while guiding operators and junior programmers.

Formación

• Read drawings and GD&T tolerance conventions.
• CAM programming for machining jobs on VMCs.
• Ability to select tools, fixtures and plan processes.

Responsabilidades

• Read drawings, GD&T and tolerances and create CAM and manual G-code programs.
• Operate 3-axis and 4-axis VMC machines; 5-axis knowledge is a plus.
