Job summary

The Overman Studio, an AI-native film studio, seeks a Visual Artist Intern to contribute to AI-driven image and video work for upcoming feature projects. Based in OMR, Chennai, this paid internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-growing studio and potential path to full-time roles.

You will collaborate with a world-class team, demonstrate strong visual sensibilities, and develop skills in prompt-driven AI workflows, color and lighting, and storytelling across diverse visuals.

Qualifications

• AI image and video production with strong prompting and ideation.
• Basic filmmaking knowledge or experience (short films, cinematography, editing, direction, art direction, screenwriting, or sound design).
• Eye for color, lighting, composition, and storytelling.
• Concept/storyboard skills (valued).

Responsibilities

• AI image & video production for projects with experimentation of new AI tools.
• Assist with concept development and storyboarding.
• Apply basic filmmaking knowledge to projects (cinematography, editing, direction).
• Collaborate with team to develop workflows and tools.
