Compensation: $15–$65/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and document end-to-end video post-production workflows using OpenShot or Shotcut.
• Organize, label, and manage raw video assets for efficient editing and archiving.
• Apply narrative timing and sequencing techniques to craft compelling visual stories.
• Refine rough cuts, adjust transitions, and resolve technical or creative challenges.
• Clearly articulate editing decisions and workflow rationale in written and verbal formats.
• Collaborate with research teams to provide feedback on workflow capture and AI training needs.
• Showcase practical problem-solving approaches that enhance both technical execution and storytelling quality.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience editing videos with OpenShot and/or Shotcut.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to clarity and detail.
