The Works in Churchgate, Mumbai, seeks a talented Video Editor to craft reels and short-form content that is brand-centric and engaging.

You will edit footage, collaborate with the creative team, and apply graphics, animations, and effects to deliver seamless, high-quality videos.

The full-time, on-site role requires a degree or diploma in film production or video editing, proficiency with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve, and strong storytelling and pacing.

We are seekinga talented Video Editor to join our team in Churchgate.The ideal candidate will be responsible for editingreels and other short-form content to create visuallystunning and impactful videos. These videos would be brandcentric and individual centric.

Responsibilities

Edit reelsand other short-form video content to meetclient specifications and project requirements

Collaborateclosely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas,develop concepts, and execute visual storytelling strategies

Cut andassemble raw footage into polished,high-quality videos, ensuring seamlesstransitions, proper pacing, and effective use ofvisuals and sound

Incorporategraphics, animations, and special effects as needed toenhance the overall quality and visualappeal of the videos

Managemultiple projects simultaneously and meettight deadlines while maintaining highstandards of quality and creativity

Collaboratewith the production team to coordinateshoots, gather assets, and organize footagefor editing

Requirements

• Bachelor'sdegree or diploma in Film Production, VideoEditing, or related field
• Provenexperience with video editing software such asAdobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, orAfter Effects, Resolve Da Vinci
• Strongcreative vision and storytelling skills, with akeen eye for detail and composition.
• Knowledgeof video formats, codecs, and colour grading techniques.
