Job summary

Wilmarcs Motion Pictures is seeking a Video Editor Intern to join our post-production team. This on-site/hybrid role offers hands-on experience editing client projects across corporate films, documentaries, brand stories, and digital content.

The internship focuses on developing professional editing and storytelling skills while collaborating with editors, producers, and the wider creative team. Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is expected, with a willingness to learn and grow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist post-production team on client projects.
• Organize and manage raw footage and project files.
• Create rough cuts and assist with final edits.
• Handle footage sequencing, multicam, and audio syncing.
• Edit reels, short-form content for social media.
• Assist with basic colour correction and audio tweaks.
• Create titles, subtitles, and basic graphics.
• Incorporate feedback and maintain clean project files.
• Perform quality checks before export and delivery.
• Collaborate with editors and producers.

Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹15,000 per month, based on skills and experience

About the Role

Wilmarcs Motion Pictures is looking for a Video Editor Intern to join our post-production team.

This is a hands‑on internship for someone who wants to develop professional editing and visual storytelling skills while working on real client projects across corporate films, documentaries, brand stories, event films and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Assist the post‑production team in editing client projects.
• Organise and manage raw footage, project files and other media assets.
• Create rough cuts and assist with fine cuts and final edits.
• Handle footage selection, sequencing, multicam and audio syncing.
• Edit reels, short‑form adaptations and social media content.
• Assist with basic colour correction, audio clean‑up and sound design.
• Create titles, subtitles and basic graphics where required.
• Incorporate creative, internal and client feedback into edits.
• Maintain clean and organised project files and post‑production assets.
• Perform quality checks before exports and final delivery.
• Collaborate with editors, producers and the wider creative team.
• Explore AI‑assisted editing and post‑production workflows where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of video editing fundamentals and visual storytelling.
• Good sense of pacing, music and visual continuity.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and experiment.
• Ability to receive feedback and make revisions.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks within timelines.
• Genuine interest in filmmaking and post‑production.

Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, colour grading, sound design or AI‑assisted video tools is an advantage, but not mandatory.
